Property Information, Taxes and Maps
Property assessed: real estate and some personal property tax on commercial equipment. Tax bills are mailed on July 1 and are due when received. Interest on unpaid bills is 8% annually.
- The fiscal year is January 1 to December 31st.
- All sewer and water is private.
- Rules determined by the state are used to determine property value.
- Exemptions: homestead and war veterans over the age of 62
