TRANSFER STATION NOTICE – MILL CREEK PROJECT 4/20/26 to 5/20/26

               The selectboard would like to thank you in advance for your patience while we

               replace the Mill Creek culvert. The following is the plan for municipal trash

               during that time:

1)           The transfer station will be open as usual, Tuesday and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

2)           There will be a Bowden & Son Disposal compactor truck located at RH Foster at the

               end of the New Road.  Residents from West Penobscot will be able to take their

               trash there.  This service will be available on Saturday ONLY.

3)           Any metal or demo trash will have to be held at home until the project

               is complete or taken to the transfer station via the detour.

4)           There will be Enter and Exit signs at RH Foster to keep the flow of traffic

               going in one direction.  Please watch for these signs.

\ Entrance will be from Rte 166 (Castine Road) and exit onto the New Road.

               DO NOT call Bowden & Son Disposal as this is a town project, not Bowden & Son.
