Mill Creek Project Update 5/15/2026

As of today, the project is progressing well. We want to inform you of upcoming work and its impact on traffic:

• On May 16th, Sargent will perform grading and compacting in preparation for paving scheduled to begin on Monday.
• During paving, expect significant delays for traffic accessing Pierces Pond and Mill Creek roads as the new hot top needs to be allowed cool-down time.
• Traffic will be reduced to a single lane, with longer wait times at the intersection where initial pavement is laid.
• Residents in the affected areas are encouraged to plan for early departures and later returns to minimize inconvenience.
• We advise others to avoid the area during paving operations if possible.
• The road will be closed on Wednesday, May 20th through the evening commute but will reopen for the morning commute on Thursday, May 21st.
• Following paving, single-lane traffic will continue intermittently as curbing and guardrail work are completed.
