7/11:

Penobscot Historical Society – Events throughout the day:

7:00 AM: Yard Sale starts and coffee and breakfast items available

11:00 AM: Hot dog and sausage lunch

12:30 PM: Castine Town Band performance at the Historical Society.

Penobscot Day Parade:

9:00 AM: Parade line up begins by Jim Henry’s house

10:00 AM: Parade begins and will end at the Penobscot Community School

Penobscot Fire Department:

11:30 AM: Chicken BBQ hosted by the Penobscot Volunteer Fire Department.

All Day: Fill The Boot to raise money for the PVFD fire truck

Penobscot Community School (PCS):

2:00 PM: Dog Show behind Penobscot Community School (PCS).

Penobscot United Methodist Church:

5:30 PM: Methodist Church Supper – Beans, Casseroles and Strawberry Shortcake!

Northern Bay area:

Dusk (around 9:15 PM): Firework display.

7/12:

12 PM: Community Celebration at Mill Stone Park (former Penobscot Sand/Salt pile) – lunch provided, bring a lawn chair!
