Last year was such a huge success!

Stone Fox Farm Creamery will be selling ice cream again this year. There will be free smoked alewife samples for people to try.  This is a kid-centric event, the focus is on public outreach and education about alewives and their importance in the ecosystem. Attendees can bring their own t-shirt, or other cloth item, to make a fish print using an ancient Japanese art form called gyotaku. Check out the pictures of the blank canvas tote bags will be available to make a custom fish print on for a $10 donation.  A pre-printed tote bag made of 10 ounce canvas will be available for a $20 donation.  Donations will be used to purchase educational materials used for local elementary school field trips to Pierce’s Pond. The pre-printed totebags can be reserved by sending an email to alewifeday@gmail.com.

A great event for the whole family! May 24th, 11AM - 2PM at Pierce Pond outlet. Remember, cancelled if it is raining.
