In Memory of James "Jim" Henry

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of former Penobscot selectman, teacher, businessman, and friend, Jim Henry, who passed away on August 27th.  Jim was a very familiar face in Penobscot, beginning in the 1970s as a teacher and principal at the Penobscot Elementary School. He ran Northern Bay Market with his wife Pat for 32 years, was a Select Board member for 16 years, and he spent many years lovingly caring for the local ball field, renamed in his honor. He will be missed and our thoughts and prayers are with Jim’s family.
