UPDATED/ HIRING: The Town of Penobscot needs a new website manager. Please read the details thoroughly.

The Town of Penobscot is in need of a new website manager. Qualifications are a sincere desire to update the town on what is happening, both municipal or general events. Support is always available during regular business hours so do not shy away because you feel you are not tech savvy enough. Average amount of time to devote is about 15 - 30 minutes weekly with up to an hour a few times a year to upload tax reports and other documents etc. There is some writing involved. A small stipend is available. Please come to the Select Board Meeting on Tuesday December 16, 7PM with questions and a short paragraph or two on why you’d like the position. The current website manager will be available to answer them. The position will start effective January 1st. Older high school students and community members that are actively involved in local events strongly encouraged but anyone should apply and all will be considered.
