Penobscot First Responder Program – Call for Volunteers

The Penobscot Fire Department is proud to announce that they have begun the first steps towards starting a first responder program for the town. They would like to thank the town for generously approving the $2000 request during the annual town meeting on March 7th. This money will be used to assist with their pursuits of training and equipment grants. Over the next year, members of the Fire Department will explore the viability of a first responder program. They are looking for volunteers to assist. Anyone with interest or experience can contact Jeanna Leclerc at jeanna.leclerc@gmail.com or Ann Boudreaux at ann.e.boudreaux@gmail.com for more information. Jeanna and Ann plan to organize interest meetings later this year as the program is developed. As a reminder, everyone in the town is welcome and encouraged to stop by the station every Monday night after 6:00.
